Type 1 Engine Servicing

Keeping your engine it tip top shape is the most essential part of owning a classic aircooled VW. You don't always need to do a full service but you do need to change your oil frequently. The rule of thumb for an oil change is once per year or every 3,000 miles, whichever occurs first. We recommend a full service every 3 years or every 10,000 miles to help keep costs and wastage down.

Type 4 Engine Servicing

Similar to the type 1 engine, keeping your type 4 engine well maintained will pay dividends in the long run. Regular oil changes will keep the inside of the engine clean and free of debris that can damage your engine. The same rule of thumb applies for service intervals as the type 1 engine.
